The College Tennis Blueprint

How to Start the Recruiting Process & Commit to Your Dream Team

Your Instructor

Hi, we are Chris & Cade Nadeau and welcome to The College Tennis Blueprint.

A bit about us...

Chris Nadeau - Over the last 35 years, I have played professional hockey, coached at all levels in hockey, owned a digital marketing agency for 18 of those 35 years and I now have an 18-year-old son playing college tennis and a 14-year-old daughter who is chasing her dream of playing college tennis. With all that experience, I have a really good understanding of how this all works for all athletes and what is the best way to promote yourself.

Cade Nadeau - I am a tennis player from New Brunswick, Canada who is currently playing college tennis at Southern New Hampshire University. I started playing tennis when I was seven years old. I fell in love with the sport while on vacation in Mexico. My father, a former pro hockey player who loved playing tennis, decided to sign me up for the recreational program at the Quispamsis Tennis Club. At nine, I entered my first competition. For many years I decided to balance playing hockey, baseball, badminton, and tennis. I competed at a very high level in hockey, but at the age of 13, I decided I wanted to chase my dream of playing college tennis.

Where we live is not optimal for tennis and I like to compare it to trying to be a pro hockey player from Jamaica. To keep up with other competitive juniors in Canada, when I started, I had to train in my garage, on my own with a ball machine, or with my father feeding me balls at the outdoor courts. We have no indoor facility where I live.

It has been a dream of mine and I have made many sacrifices to play college tennis, but I love the sport. And now I am PLAYING COLLEGE TENNIS!

That's why we created The College Tennis Blueprint, to help aspiring tennis players and their parents learn from our successes—and failures.

Our goal is to help 1000 young tennis players get to that next level and play college tennis.

The College Tennis Blueprint gives you everything you need to start your recruiting journey successfully, including technical help, a marketing plan that works, and access to a community of other student-athletes and parents ready and willing to share their advice with you.

Whether you are looking to further your tennis career in college or are the parent of a talented athlete trying to give your child the best path to athletic success — this course is for you!

However, getting started can feel daunting.

  • What information should I send to coaches?
  • How do I find schools that fit?
  • How do you get a resume uploaded online?
  • What should I put in a video? How many videos should I have?
  • How do I study for SAT’s? What are test optional schools?
  • And even after your resume goes live, how are you going to make sure coaches find it?

We are going to help you cut through the confusion—to not only learn how to properly plan and launch your recruiting profile but make sure it gets found, too.

In The College Tennis Blueprint, we'll walk you step-by-step through the entire process of launching a great online profile & strategy that will get you discovered. With high-quality videos (that aren't too long) and examples along the way, you'll have your new profile up and running in no time, so you can start contacting and impressing the coaches you want to play for.

Coaches are waiting to hear from you.
